The son of actor Walter Marvin Koenig, Joshua Andrew Koenig, was informed to have been missed for a week. Police, his family and friends are worried about him.
According to sister Danielle Koenig, Andrew was seen the last time on Feb. 14 in Vancouver. He came there to visit his friends. He planned to be on a flight on Feb. 16 but did not do as scheduled.
Last Friday, his girlfriend, burlesque dancer Jenny Magenta, informed about the vanishing of Andrew on her private Facebook page and on Twitter. An earlier Zap2It article said that famous stars such as Alyssa Milano and Sara Silverman also posted about the disappearance of Andrew on their personal blogs and Twitter.
According to actor and TV host David Holmes, Adrew Koenig is now looked for by many people and Vancouver police.
The last time Andrew's parents heard about him was on Feb. 9, according to Entertainment Tonight. His mother Judy Koenig shared that there was one message sent to Andrew's phone from his friend on Feb.
16 in the Stanley Park area of Vancouver. The mother said she was still very concerned about her son though Andrew said he stayed with his friends in Toronto from early February.
According to Walter and Judy Koenig, Andrew had shown some signs of depression prior to his disappearance. They told TMZ that they are about to be make their flight to Vancouver in the next days.
Talking about the Vancouver police in the search of Andrew, father Walter expressed his thanks and admired them on their sensitivity, generosity and extraordinariness when they tried to find his son.
Andrew Koenig was born on August 17 in 1968. He played Richard "Boner" Stabbone to Kirk Cameron's Mike Seaver in more than two dozen late-1980s episodes on the sitcom "Growing Pains". He also had a minor role in "Sanctuary," an episode of "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine." In addition to his acting career, he is also a video producer for the podcast Never Not Funny. He has been staying with dancer Jenny Margenta since Feb. 10. According to Andrew's co-worker, Lance Miccio, Andrew told him that he was not going to work any further.
